The Housing Operations Department of THA owns and manages four Section 8 Project Based Rental Assistance Communities.

Towne Square and The Meadows are owned and managed by THA. The two sites combined offer housing to 321 families. Murdock Villa is a Section 8 site owned and managed by THA. Collectively, more than 200 elderly and disabled individuals call these communities home. Murdock Villa is a high-rise apartment building with one and two bedroom apartments specifically designed for individuals with physical disabilities.

How do I apply?
Families interested in living at Towne Square and The Meadows may apply at the Property Management Office located in the Community Building at each THA site, or at the THA Central Office.

Individuals interested in living at Murdock Villa may apply at the property management office located inside the front lobby of those buildings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications are also accepted at the Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa’s Central Office, located at 415 E. Independence Street, Tulsa.

At the time of application, applicants need to bring the following information:

  • Social Security cards for all household members
  • Photo identification of all adults
  • Birth certificates of all minor children living in household
  • If married, both adults must be present at the time of application.
