Few things in recent memory have revealed our capacity to transform like the COVID-19 pandemic has.
Homes across America transformed into workspaces. Parents transformed into teachers. Brick and mortar operations transformed to completely digital enterprises.
Through it all, our work of transforming lives and communities hasn’t just continued, it has increased and elevated to meet the needs of our residents, our team members and our community.
At the heart of the information below is our commitment to creating a better Tulsa, which can’t happen without a transformative vision for what our city can be. You need only to visit our River West community, a historic investment in affordable housing, to see the impact this vision can have. With the support of our incredible partners, we’ve been able to change the physical landscape as well as the landscape of opportunity for our residents.
While we celebrate all we were able to accomplish in 2021, we know this is only the beginning. We hope you will share our vision for a better Tulsa and will join us in the transformation.

Like our community, state, nation and the rest of the world, there was no shortage of challenges for the Tulsa Housing Authority in 2021. This annual report reflects the abundance of resolve and professionalism exhibited by Team THA in meeting those challenges.
Over the last few years we have transformed our organization and shifted our goals and strategies to best meet the needs of our community. This has been accomplished through the development of mixed-income communities, which strengthens Tulsa by creating diverse and vibrant neighborhoods.
We’ve made much needed improvements to our communities through the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and we’re continuing that work in 2022, creating a healthy and safe environment for our residents to live. In collaboration with our community partners, who share our commitment to helping our residents and community thrive, we will continue our efforts to meet the affordable housing needs in Tulsa.
On behalf of the THA Board of Commissioners, we are proud to share what our team was able to achieve in 2021.There will continue to be challenges going forward, but one thing will remain the same – our commitment to creating a better Tulsa by transforming lives and communities.
