Got Goals? We’ve Got You.

Housing Partners of Tulsa (HPT) is a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency providing a variety of services and programs leading to self-sufficiency and homeownership.  All HPT programs and services are open to the public and are geared toward families meeting the low- and moderate-income level.

HPT staff are well-trained, friendly and offer services in English, Hmong and Spanish.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program

For individuals living in Tulsa Housing Authority-operated public housing units and those participating in the Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher program, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program can help participants reach their goals while earning escrow funds throughout the process.

Homebuyer Program

HPT’s Homebuyer Program is comprehensive and encompasses everything from a client’s initial interest, working with a lender and realtor through the home search process, offering guidance on negotiating the contract, understanding inspections, providing insight and imparting skills that will help the individual or family choose an affordable home that is right for them.

An HPT staff member goes along with program participants to the closing table and continues to work with the family for five years post-home purchase to ensure that they have a strong understanding of their responsibilities and to prevent any potential for default through post purchase education and case management.

Clients of the program can work with any lender and realtor they choose. The home is not restricted to a specific neighborhood or zip code. Options include single detached houses, condominiums, duplexes and in some cases mobile homes. The program is very flexible to meet a wide range of affordable housing options.
