Housing Partners of Tulsa, Inc. (HPT) was created in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The mission of HPT is to provide a wide-range of affordable housing options for low and moderate income Tulsans and to promote programs leading to self-sufficiency and home ownership.
HPT has been a HUD certified Housing Counseling Agency since 1998, and has received HUD housing counseling grants since 1999. Also since 1999, HPT has received funds from the City of Tulsa’s HOME program for its Affordable Housing for Homeownership program.
Since 2003, THA has partnered with HPT to administer the Section 8 Homeownership Voucher Program. These vouchers, offered through HUD, assist income-eligible first-time homeowners with their monthly homeownership expenses.
To be eligible for assistance, you must be a first-time homebuyer (cannot have owned a primary residence in the past three years), you must purchase your home within the city limits of Tulsa, and your household income cannot exceed program limits.
