The Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa (THA) is a quasi-governmental, public body, corporate and politic, exercising exclusively public and essential government functions, and having all the powers necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and previsions of the Oklahoma Housing Authorities Act (OHAA). THA is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners which establishes policies, approves budgets and provides general direction to the THA President / Chief Executive Officer and Executive Staff. The Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa is the second largest Public Housing Authority in Oklahoma and holds the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development  (HUD) rank of High Performing Agency.

The Board, the President/CEO and the staff of Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa understand that the provision of safe, decent and affordable housing is not its only job.

THA's mission is to be a leading Public Housing Agency that enhances the quality of life in Tulsa through the efforts of a professional, caring and responsive staff and Board.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa will meet in regular session on the 15th day of March 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Comanche Park, located at 3608 N Quaker, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A Public Hearing will be held during the meeting to consider the 2012 Agency Annual Plan of the Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa.
